1997 – Richland Mall undergoes significant expansion, welcoming JCPenney and adding 108,000 square feet of retail space to its offerings.
2002 – A rebranding initiative sees the mall renamed Westfield Shoppingtown Richland, marking a new era under the ownership of the Westfield Group.
