From A Mall To
A Business Hub

Once a traditional mall, The Ontario Center is now undergoing a remarkable transformation to meet the changing needs of our community. No longer just a shopping destination, we’re reimagining this space as a vibrant business and community hub. With a calendar packed full of events, workshops, and activities, there’s always something exciting happening at The Ontario Center.

History Of Creation

1969 – Richland Mall (now The Ontario Center) opens its doors in the Mansfield suburb of Ontario, adjacent to US 30. The sprawling 64-acre site boasts Lazarus, Sears, and O’Neil’s as its primary anchor stores.

2002 – A rebranding initiative sees the mall renamed Westfield Shoppingtown Richland, marking a new era under the ownership of the Westfield Group.

2006 – Ownership transitions once again, with the mall reverting to its original name, Richland Mall, now under the ownership of Centro Watt.
